Being new to the area I haven't had the pleasure of a guy mowing my lawn yet. I was down there this morn and wasn't worth my time. The day time is fun but Midweek from now on and at night. The weekends are too busy for me. Plus I need a bike anyone have any ideas?

Its gross. I live a mile from it and very rarely fish it. I'll drive 45 min to fish a less productive spot just cuz I can't deal with the yahoos. Even mid week middle of the night - if it's a prime tide, forget it.

Used to at lease be able to get there an hour early to get on your spot but now it doesn't matter if you're there or not. Had some goons casting atoms and letting them sink before realign them in - with the reel upside down because they couldn't figure out how to reverse the handing on the reel.....

You know, it's funny I have fished there for a lot of years and never did the bike thing. I have caught a ton of fish there this year and in years past. Now, I'm not knocking it but I never saw the need to be able to ride you bike all over hell and back.

No boat, back in the suds.

I need a bike cause I'm lazy and want to explore! Plus I don't like tons of people around me easier to pick up and move.

It comes in handy to access some locations on the mainland side, between the bridges. Especially if you want to take a plugging rod and a jigging rod along, and a heavy jig bag. I can walk forever, but it's more convenient to be able to ride a half-mile or so.

I hardly ever take it at night, though. I go out with a plan and stick to it.

Saturday morning I put on my polka dot suit, red curly wig and big floppy shoes, Fished up and down from 5am to 10am without running into other bozos or any fish for that matter. I think I saw BigFish pedaling by, I said hello and it didnt register who he was until he was further down the path. I guess the circus left town and I was left shoveling the left over poop.

we get some serious weekend clowns here in NJ, not necessarily bad fisherman, just tons of idiots shooting through bunker pods in their boats, very fast. Scary situation as a skisher. For now night has been safer but that'll change any day now
