Ok the fish has been dead. What's the issue with no belt and dry top. Looks to be on solid rocky beach area. Do all you guys wear belts and dry tops at the canal?

Yup. What's the difference between falling into the canal and falling into Narr Bay? You drown either place if you are not belted off.

I never wear waders at the ditch very rarely but I always wear a belt with knife etc. 99% of the time I also wear korkers ask my heals lol

I don' wear a top at the canal, but I do wear a belt. Anytime I wear waders in the surf, I wear a top and a belt--well ever since I had a very close call about 8 years ago.
