If I'm not mistaken, I was member 59. I had a real, visceral fear of bassmaster when I joined...mostly because I livelined herring.

The first member trip I went on was with Chris L and the specialist. Billy's car broke down at Bass Hole and we ended up fishing the jetty at West Dennis beach.

I spent two great trips to Cuttty, thanks to Ross. They were good times. I was standing on Clammers boat right before he crushed his lower unit...I think he threw me off on purpose.

I've met some great people, like Bruce M. (and Danny), Kevin J, Ross, TDF, Big Fish, Raven, 5/0. redlite, Krispy, Casey and Kacie, Clamma, striper ted (the Enforcer) and if I missed you I'm sorry.

I would have never bought the $1000 of ice fishing gear that is in my cellar if it wasn't for the Fabbit's.

The TFCTFN's are the best. I don't know if they make any money for John, but they really make me feel like I do something good.

In short, this site got me through a two month off period that I had after knee surgery in 2000. Nobody takes things too seriously. Like Skip, I check the site every day.

OK, that's it for me. I'm watching the Replacements documentary on Amazon TV.

Love,
Rick

I agree 100% and I will do anything necessary to help out to make it/this happen because
these kinda things are good for the sole.

With that said there are waaay to many great replys to this thread they are all heart felt and true.

I myself I needed some guidance this past spring with my Dads passing, and as a junky of S-B I visit this site on a daily basis, for updates of who what and where things are happing.
Knowing a lot of you personally and some not yet I imposed on you all and asked for some help as I was just about at the end of my rope and turned to you for guiedance, direction and some spin to my troubling matters.
What I received was replys,PM's & phone calls with support and sincerity to the point I showed my loved ones who I was being a rock for,but little did they know I also needed a cruch.
The multiple PM's, support kind words from friends and some amazining support from complete strangers which gave me support and prayers were from the hart, I had shown these pms to my mom which brought her to tears but assurance, solitude and comfort knowing that there are many good people still left in this world. but most of all I know most of you.and my mom was happy to know that these guys(you)are the people I surround myself with.

That ment the world to me and your thoughts brought me strength I didn't know I had within and I deeply
thank you all for that!

Bruce you as a true Craftsmen hit the nail on the head Buddy, great thread!

With out this site you and I wouldn't have met, along with Paul M,Niko,Boss man,Fishbones, jonererfisher,Redcrabber,Nightfighte r,Bronko,Keepreaper,Throwingtimber,Krispy,Tlap,Nig htrider and of course Ricky (And I even returned your Gold braclet) good people, good friends I can trust and count on when in need.

Thanks again all of you!
