I count 28 in the pool unless I missed someone. If the jackpot ends at $1.5 bil. and the cash payout is $930 mil. that's $93 mil. for s-b.com and a shade under $30 mil a piece if we luck out and hit it. Not bad! My suggestion, go to bed before the drawing and have pleasant dreams. Worth $6 and then some.

If we were to hit for full boat, S-B will take half of its share

Does your incessant whining make you feel better? How about you just shut the hell up and suck it up? It's a fishing forum , so please just stop.

20 years ago I worked for one of the biggest brokerage firms in Boston. One day there was a guy and his wife sitting in the lobby waiting for someone to talk to. All the big money brokers just walked by them because they looked like they didn't have any money. I was always taught to treat everyone equally and fairly. I asked them to come into the conference room at which point they told me they hit the lottery for $14 million. They told me no matter what I was their financial advisor. Pretty cool story.

That is a good story to hear Nebe. It is always a great feeling when you treat people decent and even if they ar worth 14 million or it costs you a few bucks. In know I can be a hard guy from time to time............. but occasionally I get a chance to do somthing for someone that needs and apprciates it, so much better feeling than being a prick, lol.

As for the 1.5 billion even if I won my plans a re so specific for the up coming season and only stuff I really want to do myself I dont thing it would have made me feel as though I would be ready anyway...........as a matter of fact it would have distracted me from my fishing goals for sure. Not saying it would have not been welcome....just saying.

In the same vain:
I went to look at SUVs in 1989 at a dealership in Smithfield RI. It had snowed so, naturally I had on jeans, boots and an old mackinaw. Young salesguy looked at me and said "I'm not dusting off the snow for you. You can't afford one anyway".
I left, went down the road and bought a new 1990 Chevy and paid cash for it.
I went back to the Smithfield dealership and asked for the manager, showed him the new Blazer and told him the story.
I don't know what happened to the salesguy but the lesson is never judge a book by its cover.

No boat, back in the suds.

I went into the Toyota dealership last month wearing faded jeans, old worn hiking boots and looking at the 2016 Tundra when a salesman approached me.
He looked me up and down and said "you can not afford this......" and I told him, your right for I am here for a free coffee and donut.

Growing up in Newport and spending a lot of time, if not most of my adolescent life on boats and yacht clubs, I learned that more often enough, the wealthiest men dressed the most sloppy. I never forgot that and I never judge when people come to my glass studio.

You got that right, especially with the eclectic group we have here. One time fishing the Derby I was fishing in between a high up law enforcement official on one side and on the other side of me was a guy that owned several gentleman clubs, too funny - you never know. Both by the way were very nice guys.

Haha. I don't know whether or not we are more dumb as a nation today than decades past, but social media sure makes it easier to seem that way
