I hit the canal Sunday about 4all was quite untilabout 6-6:30
then the blues appeared from the east .Fish busting way out towards the middle with 27" - 34" bass mixed in. The blues barfing up peanut bunker total 7 blues up to 30" and 4 bass
,all on top, white polaris poppers. The smoker is going!

I had the same happen right in front of the Watch Hill hotel on Friday morning. Must have been little tunnies chasing the bait. Couldn't see anything but the bait, but they were being chased. It sounded like rain or a wave comin right at ya. I through deadly #^&#^&#^&#^&s and kastmasters at them but must not have matched the hatch.

Yup fished all weekend. about 60 stripers, biggest being 43 inches. I did get one 12lb blue.
