This came up on the pod today. Great blues sound. This guy is 16 on this album 1969, produced by Al Kooper. Great guitar sound. If you are a fan of the blues check out some more of this guy you won't be dissapointed.
Plus he played bass on Hot Rats for Mr. Zappa. It is truly amazing how many great players I stumble on and find out they had a stint with Frank. FZ talent guru extraordinaire.
Shuggie?? Now that's a Bluesman name. Good tune!

Heard this today. This is by far my favorite tune to put on while I am driving to go fishing, especially in the very early am hours. Really gets the juices flowing for the upcoming enjoyment.

Every once in a while you miss a show you know you are going to regret, Little Feat and then Lowell, Stevie Ray, Zep, Floyd, Dan with Larry in NYC to name a few. Hopefully Joshua will return safe and sound from Europe to present another opportunity. Thread forthcoming, but in a little bit.

Hey Bob how is the great white north. Had a great conversation with T. Stezko today. Hoping to get together and tin boat it into P. Bay this summer with him.

paul; it's pretty quiet here in the mountains.snowshoeing daily in the surrounding woods and crossing Rangeley lake to the local coffee shop/post office to gab in the morning.hanging out in the shop building/repairing rods and tying flies for brookies, salmon and bonefish/tarpon/permit for the travelers heading south.looks like we're going to get 2' of snow tomorrow through Thursday.the turkeys are strutting around in the yard so it's definitely spring[ya right!].I have a new "tin-can" up here.A 16' lund tiller w/25 Honda.Like the old girl, just newer.was listening to an oldie today American Garage as I was making eyes for shrimp flies. Hope all is well with you too. Bob M. I'll send some shots of the heard[deer] in the yard.53 has been the largest group so far at one time.

Robben tix on sale yet?

Working from home this week and I just saturated myself with music, but this one seems to be the song of the week for me:

Tastefully done if I do say so. Probably why it is stuck in my head since Monday.

Yes I think Eddie just got a ticket. May 4th at Narrows. I have a ticket as I had a ticket to see him last fall when he broke his wrist and had to cancel so the ticket I had is good for the new date.

Good tune. Napoleon M. Brock was so good when we saw him at Narrows with Grandmothers of invention. Hopefully they will come around again.

There are days when I could listen to Roy all day. Just an amazing voice.

In honor of the upcoming, but a bit early (so what, this is awesome!)

plus one with Larry

Here you go Bob some early Robben, real good album. Different sound, style. Very Larry, Lee, style sound, even a little Ronnie Montrose. Luv it.
