Yes, Rick, I saw this already, look about 13 posts ahead of you. Sounds like you're throwing down the gauntlet for some sort of Iron Chef Striped-Bass competition. Well, Iron Chef RickBombaSakai, Iron Chef JimboKenichi will will consider your most worthy offer.

Damn...there is some sweet stuff on those tables and I know this year will be killer.

I'll have to be there in sprit this year....
(Family trip planned that week)

Maybe I can donate something…. Perhaps a guided ( me as your guide) surf trip (night) during the derby (for no more then 2 people) I normally fish solo but I could make an exception for sb.com. ...I don't know if that would be much of a prize or even of interest...but I will guarantee fish or I buy dinner the next night. You can't loose! If there is any interest in something like this let me know. Again I would be happy to do it

Open Boat Charter Raffle

John,

It was a pleasure speaking to you yesterday. As I stated on the phone I am going to purchase a ticket and try my very best to make it to the affair. My only problem is a schedule conflict with having a booth at the "BIG E" in Springfield the same weekend. The show ends at 8:00PM on Saturday but maybe I will shut down around 5:00 and make the two hour trek down to Fairhaven. With no stove in my booth and not very creative with a microwave I will provide paper plates, napkins and drink cups. I will get these in your hand prior to the date in case of S N O W!!

This is a great chance to meet more members here and tell some lies about the big one we landed and the one that got away, which none of us ever do. I also would like to donate two seats on one of our "OPEN BOAT CHARTERS" aboard RELENTLESS for a day of cod fishing on Stellwagen Bank. It is the least I can do. If Raider Ron wins, redraw the ticket.

Well, time to go check on the boat (another cancelled trip due to weather), work out, (need to de-balast) and head down to the Providence Boat Show. I hope everyone has a great weekend.

Respectfully,

Dave Waldrip
