[QUOTE=Plum Crazy;573156]
I only want to enjoy the solitude and peace and the outright joy I have fishing the striper surf.

You know more about fishing than a lot of the "experts".

As far as I know yes.
I fish 40 hours straight sometimes.
No sleep. God forbid the powers that rule the coast if I lay my head down once. I am forced to fish 24 hours a day if I choose to bring my rig out.
Not that I wouldn't fish anyways but jeez sometimes I need a break.
I guess I am a different breed.
I park my butt in one spot ( I know it is a good one)
and I fish it 24.
I do fairly well.
I am really happy with that! I really really am.
God bless all of you in search of your fish of a lifetime, but I am just plain old happy fishing.
I love sunrises and sunsets.
I love storms that come out of nowhere. I love finding treasures, I love triple rainbows and hearing the rain on the roof of my camper.
I love everything the striper surf throws at me.
I will never be an expert and I doubt I could share anything with you.
Unless you want to hear a million stories of "HOW COULD I BE SO STUPID?"
LOL THOSE are funny!
I have learned allot from everyone here.
I lurk because I can't contribute.

Thanks Saltheart, I wish everyone could feel the way I feel when I step on the beach.

OK folks. I think it is time to move on from this thread. I'm closing it down now.

If we want to have a discussion on how best to move forward, please start up a new thread - thanks!
