I had a leaning post, cooler, various power tools, 7 rods, 2 gaffs, 2 hatches, 4 double depth planos, various electronics, and a gallon of Kiwigrip in the living room all winter long and she's still with me.

Sound advice from everyone.Been together 15 years and it's getting progressively worse.Oh well....

As far as fishing this season I hope to get out more , use more bait and less plugs.Maybe dedicate most of the season to eels and one or two plugs. 70/30 ratio with bait being higher.

My wife never says anything other than be safe and catch me a big one. With three kids under 13 and both working full time I am very lucky to be able to get out at all. When I do it's nice to know I have the support of my family as well as my fishing buds. Thanks C.S.A.

I'm seeing how it would feel to be semi retired. Booked a site in a canal campground for nearly a month. Should be able to find a fish or two in that amount of time.

As to the spouse thing, I'm pretty lucky there. Mine likes to fish and camp, so she understands even when I leave her behind. You have to compromise though, hard to stay together if you're never together. But that doesn't mean you can't both do things on your own either.

Outside of maybe drag out a few less plugs that I don't use anyway , I'm not changing a damn thing. Worked last year.
