Nothing is more exciting For me anyway then having a Big Bass chase and smash your pogie free swimming !!! had another productive morning was able to get 3 pogie and hook up with all 3 1st one thew the hook not far from the boat did some serious surface thrashing and head shakes , 2nd fish was smaller not as much drama and the 3rd a 44 in nice lip hook released looked like a dog chasing a cat and the cat lost .. and it was cooler than expected hence my outfit

so finally did some bass fishing saturday at the merrimack in the boat.
it was ok....(it was kinda bumper boat fishing for a bit) i landed five fish on the am outgoing tide 4 of which were 29-35".
highlight of the am was my buddy who is a total newbie hooking and landing a 80-100lb sturgen.....which was safely release boatside, id post a pic but i guess i cant with a mobile....dunno

Damn! Nice fluke. That fish is my nemesis. I suck at catching it and I suck at filleting it. Good catch Bassballer!
