1st idea!
I personally feel that Headboats are a crapshoot and alot of times a waste of time and $$
If you can get to the fish in your own boat and have the right tackle etc you'll do just fine.
GPS coordinants from Canalratt would be great providing one of the boats has a GPS onboard??
If we are all thinking positive about this we are gonna need big coolers full of ice! Thats gonna take up alot of room on these boats!.
Hey mike, can you picture your boat with a bunch of cod all over the deck??!!!! Or better still in the cabin

or better yet on
rope over the side!! or filet in the small cooler then split at end of day!! cod fishing is an up and down bounce or jig no casting so my boat can hold four two on the corners and two on the sides its about including some of the guys that never get out

hey guys, i was wondering if any of you have available space on your boat. i dont have any rod for cods, but a few of rigs for it. i could help you with gas money, cuban cigars, or whatever to split the costs or something like that... i will bring food and drinks for anyone on the boat. im trying to conserve money for a new apartment...

hey mike
cant do the fillet idea as only charter boats have the right to clean and discard the remains at sea. You must be able to show that the fish is of legal size.
Maybe we should bring an extra boat just to put the fish on?
Like you said mike we have plenty of time to figure it all out!

Same thing here, man. CAL, if we hook up on the cape, I am pretty sure that we will catch Black sea bass on Bourne. My uncle's dock should be able to have them by now...
So what is the plan for this weekend? eeling or plugging? smelts are in back river... fried smelts for cold holidays sure keep you contented

Notaro, I'll probably be plugging, but I lost my favorite today. A Bassmaster danny, that thing swam pissa. Some boat owner on the Neponset is gonna be happy when he finds it stuck to his gunnel . I almost worked up the courage to swim out and get it
Where you wanna go this weekend?

Well as I said before I can take 2 persons. Two sides two corners. I have two fish boxs in the floor that can hold 100# each and I will have a big cooler as this is the seat for the two people that fish with me. I only have 2 seats cause I like ROOM. I also have a commercial lic. So we can have 200 # on my boat!
I am going to try to get out on a trip out of Chatam this week?? Hoping the weather will be good??

Clean them , put in the frige and have fish for the winter!! If you have 4 people on the boat divide up to 50 # each then you lose at least 1/2 the weight to waste you have 25 # meat per person.
I guess you don't fish to eat?? Or clean to many fish?

Also I said that I could bring 2 persons with me as I have one budy that is already going, so that is 4 on the boat.
Hey you could go with me if you want? and I will keep your 50 and show you what to do with them.
