That really was a great gathering, thanks Slip and John for doing this. It was cool to be able to see and hold the plugs made by members, absolutely outstanding stuff!
Also thanks to the guys who brought some of their vintage collection to look at and BS over
Food was great, company was better. Good to meet some more of the south county crew. Came home with a bunch of stuff to sneak into the basement

I spent those for stripers. I will get a rod for fluke when the season arrives. However, I need to pay off Russ next month or soon!
Russ, I just found out that the Chinese New Year is coming in two weeks, you might get your money SOON!!!!

Tru-dat. Words of wisdom right there Joey. Just because the 'pro' said to use this and that... doesn't mean that's the only way. You don't need a new rod and reel for each kind of fish in the sea. Fluke fishing is often as simple as getting the baited hook in front of the fish. At my favorite fluke spot from shore lots of Jamaican(I think) guys fish with hand lines. They whip em around in a circle or cast them off of empty 2 liter soda bottles. They do almost as well as me I just use of one my freshie rods.
