I caught one over Cuttyhunk that went 16 pounds 15 ounces!
It fought like a big bass....being still on the dark side of dawn I almost lipped the thing until I caught a look at the profile of the head! Lucky cause' the thumb was ready to slide over the lip!!!!
Biggest bluefish I have ever caught or seen! Only 35 1/2 inches long, 21 inch girth....it looked like a tuna! Kind of a milestone for me...I always wanted a 15 pounder on my own wood! Nice when you set a goal and you reach it....time to work on the 40, 50 and 60 pound bass!
