From what is being exposed about the intelligence community, it appears to have been a sort of corrupt swamp at the top.
Trump was impeached for abusing his office to slime Joe Biden. And, what, exactly is Trump, with an assist from DNI Ratcliffe, Fox News, and others, doing RIGHT NOW? Oh.

Oh. Sliming a politician is what politicians always do. That's not what he was impeached for. You keep making stuff up.
And what are the leftist press and social media doing RIGHT NOW? Oh . . . what they always do . . . attempt to mock,"debunk," suppress and destroy information that hurts their guy.

1. The fact that the DNI is abusing all instruments of his power and serving as a trump campaign surrogate is a metaphor for how Trump has treated intelligence from day 1: as PR material.
That’s not just un-intelligent it’s dangerous.
2. Why you may ask? Well for starters we have no reason to believe that the DNI is forthcoming about threats / assessments that don’t jibe w Trump’s political needs. Censoring intel to assuage Trump’s ego means policy makers and the public may not get a full picture.
3. Plus he has trumped up material that suits Trump’s TPs - even when it should have a Russian warning label attached.
4. Collection priorities may be skewed toward what Trump needs for his campaign machine vs what we need to keep us safe
5. And assessments that don’t match Trump’s spin machines needs may be censored or neutered.
6. The DNI talking about politics is just a signal to the world that all “intel” has a political filter permanently applied under this President.
7. Our intel partners probably don’t trust Ratcliffe bc he’s looks like Trump’s political errand boy - they won’t want to put their own sources and methods at Risk
8. Our adversaries likely think if they can put out “Intel” that suits Trumps campaign needs Ratcliffe will release it / elevate it even if it’s part of a disinfo attack
9. This gross politicization of intel could turn off qualified Americans from applying to serve in the IC. And it could lead existing IC personnel to leave.
10. It appears that Ratcliffe doesn’t care about the adverse effects he’s having on our country’s security.
11. How unpatriotic can you get?
12. A DNI should not be using the media to do the President's political errands.

Why would the DNI be answering questions about the FBI that the FBI wouldn't even answer?

The FBI’s intelligence activities are overseen by the Director of National Intelligence. What question are you referring to?

That doesn't say, as you claimed, that he must be a "career Intelligence Community civil servant." It does say he should have extensive intelligence experience, which he doesn't seem to have, but the Senate was satisfied that he did. In any event, he would know what the intel says about the emails.

The Trumplican Senate confirmed him, afraid of San angry tweet from the head victim.
Notice that they are now starting to claim they secretly disagreed with him.

if the democrats and the media had evidence it was a russian plot, that would prove that the head of NI is lying. so what aren’t any of them sharing any of the evidence?
here’s biden spokesperson saying that no one on the campaign is saying the emails are inauthentic. the campaign doesn’t have to say that. democrats and the media are saying it for them.

Again, they use the "just say it" method. Just saying it is the proof. And when you can combine that with the "kill the messenger" ploy, that's a double whammy faux proof.

Besides, this is the reality: Tweety has lost all contact with reality. He is consumed by paranoia, rage, fear, and a massive feeling of failure so anything goes.

The problem for the GOP going forward is not Trump. Keep this in mind, a large majority of Trumplicans: don’t believe in evolution, don’t believe in climate change caused by human activity, support a ban on Muslims, and believe Christianity should be America’s national religion.

Keep the deflection going ... So again you have no issue with Trump suggesting Barr should arrest Biden?
Or Fox News and Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI) for suggesting without evidence that a laptop allegedly belonging to Hunter Biden contained child pornography.
Like i said they've Republicans and apparently you as well have abandoned any moral high ground and self respect and have gone all in on conspiracy theories its all they have.. 😥

Giuliani: Even if Hunter Laptop Story ‘Isn’t Accurate,’ Americans ‘Are Entitled to Know It’
So when they shout "fake news" at a story, they're really acknowledging that they want in on the action.

Except no one has offered a speck of evidence that the laptop isn't his. I posted a video of someone from Biden's campaign, and she admitted that the campaign isn't saying the emails are inauthentic.
It was the Russians. Again.

equally absurd, why didn't Trump disavow white supremacists at Charlottesville? Unless he's supposed to do it, literally, in every sentence. Because yes, there were specific sentences where he didn't disavow white supremacists. But in his Charlottesville remarks, he disavowed white supremacists very clearly. Years later, the media is still beating that drum.

One upshot of impeachment, I think, is that it inoculated a lot of folks to whatever they were trying to do here with the “laptop”
Now tell us about the candidate whose kids stole from cancer victims and vets, also known as suckers and losers

Seems why so many intel experts are saying this reeks of a Russian operation. Hack Biden's emails, manipulate whatever you want and then plant them on a random laptop that just happens to be sent in for repair and suddenly exposed.
That you're taking any of this seriously is disturbing Jim.

Yup I will have either golf, fish, maybe break out the chain saw and do some carving, or gets some beds or mulch piles turned over with the tiller; won’t miss a beat. Pete however might need therapy he seems to be close to the edge.
