Troops called in against people exercising (reportedly peacefully) their constitution rights and the states didn’t request them, which is required by law. If the no kings day protests are met with troops things might get ugly and someone is going to die. Remember the CSNY song about the Kent State students shot down, history could be repeating. Remember how it started in Germany, with the newly elected Chancellor pardoning all the prisoners he needed to get things rolling. Sound familiar? In Germany 1/3 of the people were willing to kill 1/3, while the other 1/3 did nothing. These ice violent arrests are really getting out of hand and I am not sure how many are really the criminals they claim. Plenty of hard working immigrants are being scooped up without any due process.

The project 25 architects, who are really running the show, have escalating things in CA not because they were needed; but because this will set him up to do what they really want in the mid terms. If he can spread this around to other largely blue states and large cities, he will likely attempt to declare a national state of emergency so he can suspend the elections. If fair elections are held, we gain back the house and maybe even the senate. With the house Trump and this administration will be see a lot of subpoenas.

Not worried about money, but I am worried about what country my kids and grand kids are going to be left with. There is one shaky stool left on fragile democracy. I don’t like conspiracy theories but I’m beginning to agree.

Not that there won’t be midterm elections, but that Trump will do what authoritarians do… twist the legal system to encourage voter disenfranchisement and pin down key democrats with lawsuits, bully precincts to contest results, use fake threats and even the military to create an environment of fear, demand forced closure of polling locations etc….

And the big one. They now have an unheard of amount of confidential data on most every voter than can be used to manipulate and target political messaging, including giving your data to foreign adversaries.

They’ve done much of this before and have proven no bar is too low.

His credentials say alot, flew 7 times on Epstein’s plane, 97 times pleaded the 5th, 34 felony convictions, 71 criminal charges, 26 sexual assault allegations, 6 bankruptcies, 5 draft deferments, 4 indictments, 2 impeachments, 2 convicted companies, 1 fake university shut down, 1 fake charity shut down, $25 million fraud settlement, $5 million sexual abuse verdict, $2 million fake charity judgement, $95 million sexual abuse judgement and a $450 million fraud judgement.

Sad and embarrassing “we the people” think these are the credentials required to lead this country. Add to that he is one stupid mother and is clearly on the verge if not already suffering dementia.

The problem is, he thinks---or whatever goes on in his brain--in the moment and has no exit plan if this escalates, and it will escalate. Iran just bombed a US base in one of the Gulf emirates (maybe Qatar?). And this time around he has no one like John Kelly or Jim Mattis to show him one. His VP is 39 years old and was a newly minted Senator when Trump chose him, his SecDef is a former National Guard major and not a 4-star general, and his Chief of Staff is a far right bomb thrower, Stephen Miller, and not another 4-star general like Kelly. Oh and his DNI, Tulsi Gabbard? Frozen out because he didn't like what she was telling him because his "instincts" told him otherwise. Like him or not, he actually chose a mostly competent Cabinet his first time around. This time he's surrounded by clueless clowns. Then there's Marco Rubio, and I can tell you this from my vantage point across the Pond--he has zero respect around the world. They see him as a suck up and ass kisser.

Trump is so sloppy he lets everyone know in advance what was planned, how else would Putin warn Iran to move its stockpile ahead of the bombing. There are satellite images that shows a total of 16 shipments entering and leaving Iran's Fordow nuclear facility in the last 24 hours before the attack.

If that doesn’t concern you, how about four civilians tech giant company executives promoted to one rank below general in the army. No working up the ranks, no vetting, what could possibly be the motive?

Doesn't need Russia, you could have given Iran the warning by watching CNN.

One of the big reasons our armed forces are so effective are NCOs. You just don't see that in the 3rd world militaries Trump so wants to emulate.

Trump could easily win his Nobel Prize here, I'd vomit, but he could do it.

All Trump has to do is tweet the US is fully backing a two state solution and convening a G20 meeting to work out an international structure for interim governance. All the Arab states would jump on board immediately. Lift oil sanctions on Iran for China and demand a pathway to reforms. It would work...

Bibi would have none of it obviously but that’s the point, Trump would get the schoolyard pleasure of putting the weaker leader in their place.
