You finished it as a blem? You know, I could come in and help you. Ya see, finishing plugs as blems means less profit, finishing NONBLEMMS is much better

Now what you meant to say was "one of the finished plugs was belmmished so I sent it to the too tall Capeboy" - that's what you meant to say

Fishingfreak, as requested. I made this Flaptail in 90' or so. Stan Daggett of West Dennis was in Riverview Bait and Tackle as I was test swimming it in Lee's large shiner tank and was the only one who knew what I had made. Right then and there Stan invited me over to his house to see all his old plugs. Awesome stuff! He gave me some needles he made to be fished with Eelskins over them. ( I will post pic).

Eben, I haven't forgot your request.

The Flaptail, made after inspiration of reading Ollie Rodman's the "Saltwater Fishermans Favorite Four" Shaped, sanded, sealed, primed and painted by hand from a square block of red cedar.

Hint. Red Top bought the company from the Shearer Bros. These are parts of the thing they bought and sold under thier name. Biff McArdle used to build them with Bunny.

When I went to visit him he gave me a couple hundred brass rings and a couple pieces of brass pipe that had been turned for rings but not cut yet. Those are all now at a friends house in Falmouth who has all of Stan Kuzias molds for eelskin rigs and jigs. Gonna have a lot of jigs next season from 1/2 to 4 oz.

Well now that he has updated them I guess that makes that one all the more desirable. That's cool. I had a few of them ( they were unpainted at the time) that I painted and used and eventually lost. There were two sizes. Stan is a great guy and great fisherman. ( as I recall in my conversations with him he doesn't cotton to beach buggies going over the sand too well)

Hey Bigfish, I don't have a Bigfish plug yet! ( blatant Ho'ism)
