Hi Slip,
I'm sure the ice will hold all of us, I hear there's like 15" or something crazy like that.
Parking in the lot will certainly fill up, but you can park on Champeaux...I've seen cars parked all the way up the hill before. I know that my group of 7 will be in 2 cars so we're trying to be as parking friendly as possible. We can always shuttle cars back to Yankee Spirits if we need to.
Just found out that two of my buddies are taking the day off on Friday, so they'll pick up the shiners.
Glad you can make it!
Rick

OK kids...looks like parking may be an issue. What my crew proposes is as follows...there's 8 of us and we'll show up with the trucks and drop the gear off. We'll then shuttle Paliaso's truck back to Yankee Spirits, to save spots. We ask that any crews who come in multiple cars do the same, so parking is available for all. Need help...call me at 781 439 1918 and we'll arrange.
Later,
Bomba

Oh yeah, one other thing...last year trash was tough to deal with. We filled my truck with bags. Make sure if you pack it in, you pack it out. Wanna make sure them nice folks in Fiskdale don't get pissed if we leave a mess. Now, most ice fishermen I know never leave a mess, so this may be a moot point. Later, Rick

Wink

I'll bring extra garbage bags. Might want to keep in mind that people drink that water, too. So be kind. Again, I'm sure the point is moot.

I plan on making the trip. I'll see how long the kids can last. I'll pick up some basic gear and if someone can drill a hole for me, I'll be all set. I look forward to meeting folks I havent before.

any advice on "basic" gear is greatly appreciated!

Where you coming from??? You could just mapquest 8 Champaux Rd, Fiskdale, MA, and follow the road to the bottom of the hill. We'll be north toward the Pike.

OK, so as it stands, we have about 60, give or take a few. That's probably about $600 in plugs and prizes.

Hi Rick,
The In The Hole crew is out for Saturday. I have some work stuff that I can't get out of. The kids are bummed. But we'll be looking forward to the TABBIT next year. Thanks for putting this all together and I hope you guys have a ball.

Picked up a bunch of italian sausages, sliced some onions, soda, JagerMeister,
and the Dr is in the house. Will need a bit of grill space.

Everything is better on the rocks.

My gear (after a scientific bathtub test) has proven to be more water-resistant than water-proof, so I've got to bow out. No worries- I've given Mr. Rockcrawler express permission to catch all of my fish. I expect him to take at least one of the 1st place catgories!

Good luck to all!

Going to be chilly in the am, be sure to layer up. Wish I could have made it down tonight. Will have 3 augers with my crew so anyone needs help just ask. Starfish and I will be kidless as they both have pneumonia.
