I got two months and it's still an addiction. I can smell them a mile away and I'm about a half second from bumbing a smoke sometimes..but I just remind myself how much time I have into it and that I would have to start all over again at day one. I think after a couple weeks it gets easier. not easy, but easier.
Stick with it!

Yes it does ..The cravings slowly get further and further apart. The cravings also slowly get weaker and weaker . I was a 3 pack a day smoker ,(luckys , pallmalls).. That was like 18 yrs. ago . They say 5 days your not physicly addicted anymore . I'd say the little annoying things ,dreams, enjoying the smell,,last a good year. I don't want to overwhelm anyone with that . Thats nothing like the first week you went thru ,, Easy time .. Now that 3 pack a day guy seems like someone eles. That guy (me)was a hard core junky . Don't start again . You'll be pissed at yourself later . Time to grow a pair and not wimp out to the tobacco industry .

Congrats Patrick .. Joining a gym is a good idea .. Getting in good shape makes less likely I'll poison myself .. I noticed a big difference working the beaches last year .. I actaully gained a few pounds at first joining a gym.. muscle is heavier than fat .. I'm going with it ..

Tagger...I hear you on the muscle weighs more idea...I have been good and going at least 5 days per week and have only lost 7 pounds...I am doing good on the cutting down and eating healthy and do think I am "shifting" some fat to muscle...I would rather be leaning down and am doing mostly cardio at the gym...reisisting the use of supplements and I am not sure aobut them.

Still on the wellbutrin maybe a pill every 3'rd day or so . or when I start getting pissed off at the world I'll "take a pill dude"
maybe up 10 pounds or so but that leveled off.

My wife's father & brother came to my house last sun for father's day.
My brother in law went out in my yard to have a few smokes.
He came back in ans STUNK out my house.
I wanted to tell him to get the f### out of my house and go stink out your own house, but I don't think that would have gone over good with my wife.

LETS GO BRANDON
