left instead of right

I went out in the yak for the first time this season today. I took a left. My friend went right in his boat. We fished miles up river against the tide to the herring run. When we got there there was 1' of water. Got my first striper of the season. Then we drifted with the tide all the way back were we got into fish rite were we put in. My friend who went right sent pics of 35" fish.
felt good to be out though

I LOVE it when MY WIFE lets me fish
