All Super Strikes now have VMC at SWE

Super Strike is switching to VMC's this year and needless to say, this is a great change for one of our favorite lure line ups.

What does that mean for our large stock of plugs that is equipped with the old Mustads? It means we're including the exact hardware at our expense that upgraded Super Strikes now come equipped with.

From here on out if you buy a Super Strike from us it will either already have VMC hooks already installed from Super Strike or we will include a small bag with the exact hooks and splits Super Strike uses.

Super Strike pricing will be going up due to the new hardware but not yet - for now you can score VMC equipped plugs at the old pricing.

The prices of the 25 pack of the Mustad 3/0 open eye 3X are marginally more expensive, 50 cents, then the VMC 4X 3/0. Don't see why there would be a increase, am I missing something or in error.

It could be that they are adding split rings?

Split rings = increased materials and labor expense I bet.

Scratch - we know what it is, just haven't put it in effect yet.

We've been paying more on the new inventory nevermind including the hardware on plugs with Mustads so we can't hold out forever. Since it's winter we figured we'd leave them at the old price for a while to encourage some additional sales.

Labor, split rings, and the cost of the hooks all go into it. I'm sure people aren't going to like it, but, no one was really a fan of the Mustads either.
