I am on my way to the Vineyard to catch Black Uhuru tonight . Anything out there for good shows for the fall?

Nice, Chris. That should be a blast.

There's a lot of really good rock/electronica/space jam type shows coming up, but probably not your thing.

My ears are still ringing from the Umphrey's show canalman took me to. Now i have seen some loud bands. Ted nugent, the who, blah blah blah but that was so loud it hurt. If I go again i am bringing ear plugs. I bring them to every show now. Guess i am getting old. Sometimes i wonder what the hell the sound guy is listening to.

Umphrees goes hard, but they're super talented. Could've been the venue. Where'd they play?

Probably Lupos. It can be hit or miss there, but I love that place. Loved the old Lupos as well. Intimate settings can be pretty intense for these type of shows. It's definitely an acquired taste.

Those bands usually play the BOA Pavillion in Boston during the summer months. You'd probably enjoy it more at that type of venue...
