"Legitimate Political Discourse"

The RNC is so far off course from the base I am familiar with.... Totally disgusted.
At least Pence could stand up to speak the truth.

“Americans have the right and advantage of being armed, unlike the people of other countries, whose leaders are afraid to trust them with arms.” – James Madison.

does the RNC side more with Trump than Pence about what Pence did that day?

Pence isn’t an outcast on the right. His remarks were delivered at a speech he was asked to give to the Federalist Society.

Yes we do, to legitimize what happened on the 6th, to downplay what actually happened.

Nope. Did not do that. Read it in its context and entirety. Care to share your take on it?

If Trump actually did fulfill his statement about shooting someone on 5th Avenue, RNC would pass resolution condemning the dead victims.
And they would pay his legal fees for his defense.

political response to what is a political "investigation" by partisan hacks that is entirely one sided, the purpose of which is to smear the other side to the greatest extent possible...weird how they can't seem to get any footing....what did you expect? and where do you think it ranks in the list or priorities for the average American?

I think I saw a poll that showed Americans were far more interested in investigations into the 574 violent riots during the summer of love

Trying to remember how that works, let’s see he was only accused and you know how people go after rich people.
Was that Ted or was it Trump?

Elmer Stewart Rhodes III, who is currently in the custody of the U.S. Marshals Service, spent hours talking to the J6 committee on Zoom today.

An attorney for the Oath Keepers founder estimated that Rhodes invoked the Fifth about 20-30 times.

Hillary Clinton used variations of 'I don't recall' 21 out of 25 times when answering questions about private email server in court filing

When all else falls

But Hillary

Although the Benghazi investigations and hearings were a sham to attack Hillary Clinton with, she never pled the fifth, she never once committed perjury, she didn’t go into hiding and testified for 11 hours straight instead of defying subpoenas. That’s what innocent people do.

Republicans are anti-crime unless you are smashing windows and beating cops at the U.S. Capitol in an effort to overturn an election. Then it's "legitimate political discourse."

Moscow Mitch stated again it was a violent insurrection and the RNC states it’s legitimate political discourse, sounds like Mitch isn’t happy with the RNC and it’s move.

BLM did it
Antifa did it
Dems did it
FBI did it
Capitol cops did it
It took place during the transition so no foul
All Americans are to blame

Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel blasted the mainstream media for portraying censures of two Republican lawmakers as approval of the Jan. 6, 2021 attack on the Capitol.

"If corporate news media wants to know why Americans don't trust it anymore, they should look no further than the shameful, outrageous, and patently false coverage of the resolution adopted by the RNC to censure Reps. Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger,"

Same old GOP RNC play Book Blame the media and its everyone else's fault and Jan. 6 select committee – comprised of Democrats and the two anti-Trump Republicans – is a partisan sham.
