WTB Surf Rod

Looking for a rod for my father, something along the lines of a GSB1201M. It will primarily be used to throw plugs at the canal. Basically, I need a good quality rod set up for braid that is relatively lightweight. Rod needs to be spinning. Also, I would like to keep it under $200. Let me know if you have something that fits the bill

Hoping to find something a little better quality than those. If can't find something that fits the bill I'll probably get one spun up for him.

I'm trying to keep it more in the 10' range as my father seems to have a much easier time that way. Thanks for the offer though

No thanks, don't need a reel and not what I'm looking for in terms of a rod.

Possibly interested in the 1208, what kind of guides, what's the distance to center of the reel seat, how much are you looking to get for it?

I am pretty sure it's an SU it was able to throw 4oz jigs no problem. It is around 28" to the center of the reel seat. I only used it 4 times. I believe the guides are Fuji.
I was looking for 175.00 I also have a black Nautil 7500 with spare spools available for 150.00

Just realised you are in Pembroke so if you want to come by and take a look at one day this week let me know.
