That is so sad, Jimmy.. My Dad has been going through chemo for inoperable liver cancer for the past year or so, and we try to prepare ourselves for that eventual call, that we know is coming.... I know I won't be ready for that call.... God Bless you Brother!

Need anything or want a fishing buddy over the weekend, give me a call.

P.S.- I said a prayer for your family and asked God to give you a 50# this year to help you through your grief. Also, asked to make sure Mom was there with him when he puts that fish on your line, so she can watch her Son catch a big one. I'm sure she is, and always will be, proud of you.

Thanks for all the kind words. We laid mom to rest today, we had a nice wake yesterday and today went well. I did the eulogy and was able to say all the things I needed to. This has been a long, long road.

Been thinking of you Jimmy. Glad all went well. To give a eulogy....man you must be some kind of composed......I could not do it. Good for you.

I am glad you were able to say what you wanted to say. I had to do the same with my father and I was not able to make it through well. It is very hard.

Sorry about your Mom. My mom passed away on June 26 - cancer also. My dad died two years ago on June 27 so it was almost like she was waiting for his anniversary. Every day I miss her. My thoughts are with you and your family. Time heals all.....
