North tip of Jamestown
Marine Task Force being activated for the area at the tip of Jamestown for a overturned vessel possibly two children in the water. Wide Area 5

Geeesh, kids?

Wayne and I couldn’t believe how many kids we seen without PFD’s on in several boats two days ago.... I don’t care if it is flat ass calm, stupid

JAMESTOWN — Six people were safely recovered after their boat capsized off the north tip of Jamestown on Friday evening.

A resident noticed an overturned vessel around 5:30 p.m., went out in a kayak and called 911, according to Gail Mastrati, a spokesperson for the state Department of Environmental Management.
