The bait is so think out there right now, you could probably head in any direction and find fish......catching them is a different story. I fished a little north of the NWC on saturday.....we had fish around the boat for most of the day. Couldn't buy a bite......The dogfish were brutal.......

Fish Rule!

Well, A awsome, fishless day today. Ran to the swc, and then about 20 miles of b.e buoy today with so many fish u could walk on them. Then huge whales, the more fish. VERY. VERY picky only ot 1 hit all day.

The schools move around day to day but the whole lower half has seen tuna and bass blitzes. They been mauling the schools of sand eels relentlessly.

- That defined fishing yesterday, I swear they were sticking their tongues out at me when the jumped over the balloon.
No fish stinks, but it was good to see many little fish, and with water temps at 73 degrees, maybe we'll start getting some tropical fish up these parts, I bet Mahi Mahi would love to dine on some stellwagen sand eels.

It gave me the fin....

Fished on Sunday and Tuesday NE of the NWC. Fish all over the place, didn't want any liveys, plugs or softs. All they did all day was give me the fin.

I hate Tuna.

Went out yesterday with my brother since he's never fished for tuna by this methis, running and gunning with spinning gear.

Had ample opportunities from 7am - 11am. 4 hookups and all lost. But is was an absolute blast. Fishing didn't want topwater, jigs or rubber ONLY stickbaits/swimmers.

Suckers water. Temp is right but it is pretty lifeless. Sharks yes but the 3 boats that went all went 0 fortuna for the trip.

Yup.

There was a quick bite on Bluefin right at dawn from what I heard. No pelagic species yet (mahi etc) much above the shelf break. Even the pots in 70 fathoms were dead when we were out there.. just waiting on another window now.... 3-5 to 5-8 for the forecast right now....
