spotless groundfishing report

6/7 - hit on cod pretty well yesterday (1:1 keeper to shorts), had hit a few spots to find em, and when we did it was a really short drift in a stronger than expected current. not a single haddock, which is very different from last year but very little junk fish which was nice, no doggies and only a few skulpin, but they were in the spots that didn't produce. water temps were 57, saw no tuna and little chatter for the same, but plenty of boats were looking for em, no whales and very little bait seen, did see one good pod of sand eels. One of the crew got very seasick so the day was cut short, but that left time to walk 9 holes and still be home to get the kids off the bus.
