Iphone 4 or Droid X

I am thinking about them both. The droid X is cheaper than Iphone, and a couple of guys at work have them and like them. Not too keen about the 30 data plan though...

who ever owns a droid will say droid is better and who ever has an iphone will say the iphone is better..

no question though.. the camera on the iphone is way better.. other than that it is personal preference.

I have an older iPhone 3G and a DroidX. The Droid was the first thing to even remotely challenge the iPhone and compared to the 3G, fairly spanks it IMO. If you need to get something today, I'd go Droid. If you can wait until summer you'll be able to chose from the latest of both offerings i5 or DX2.

Trying to make myself wait to see if I get a i4 or wait a couple more months.

The next reason to wait is the longer you hold out the better 4G/LTE offerings you can choose from.

my iphone 4 makes my old 3g seem like a walkie talkie.. i don't think you can compare a droid to a 3g.....

4G/LTE will be able to run on older networks but phones not capable of 4G/LTE won't take advantage of the faster nets...

Eben - the Driod doesn't compare to the 3G

I've got an EVO on sprint and absolutely love it. I've got a family plan and we have 2 droids and share 1500 minutes and unlimited data. Got an awesome discount for switching to them. theirs is truly unlimited. I've got great coverage everywhere I go. I've lined up an iphone, my droid and another carriers droid in my inside office in downtown Boston and I've got the best coverage. When I am in 4g I get 10 Mbps downloads. I can also make calls in downtown Boston outside (where I have full bars and 4G) where my friends iphone has 0 bars......

you need an app for that. my friend just lost his new iphone4 during our drunken debauchery on marathon monday. It took a metrocab far far away from where we were on beacon, and he's pretty much for lack of better words, F'D. But there is an application you can get that tracks the location of the device and sends messages to the phone or something.

something clever and related to fishing

Yah, but can't google do the same thing with the android platform? Sure, you can turn off the exact pinpoint GPS setting, but there is no way easy way to turn off the locational setting as far as I know....

Just THINK of all the data that google has about all of us to begin with, just with gmail and all the other crap alone!
