Question Awful quiet in here......

... you guys must all be wrapping away in the basements .... or getting in some good brownie points to be collected from the wife come spring .... Would like to hear what you guys are currently wrapping... It might even give others an idea or two along the way..

Stripped an old MB96 3M.. changing it from a spinning rod over to conventional.. Cork tape, fuji trigger seat, bnlg guides, sprial wrapped, black over neon green... << love that color..

Gonna match it up with an Abu Pro Max 6600 for a nice albie rod.
Will throw 1 - 1.5oz metals and shads nicely...

Nice wrap Goose!

Ok here is where I am at on my XRA 1205!

Then I will get the necessities to build the Rainshadow 1087 that I picked up off CS at the plug fling!
Tempted to go with those purty blue ringed Amtak guides but ??
Anyone use them yet?

The trim band below the guide ring is centered its just the angle I took the pic at that makes it look off!

Chum, I didnt coat under wraps only color preserve at the end.

I agree cape I only used that metlic on the stripper guide. The rest of the threads is size D (black, black&green on the ends). with 12# line I should be able to land that 25#er.

Russ, John set me up with a nice rod with the blue Amatak guides. They seem to be holding up after a couple days of fishing braid. I do have a SiC top though.
