Paris Back To Slammer!

I do not believe she will see her sentence through to the end regardless of todays order for her to return!!! Great picks of her balling in the cruiser though!

Almost time to get our fish on!!!

Pretty sad really, must be scary for anyone regardless of situation or money.

According to what I've heard, a 23 day prison sentence for driving while suspended (even with the impaired charge) is very rare.

This could be a case where her treatment is actually more harsh because she's a celeb than less.

I have no sympathy for here. She should get the same sentence as everyone else. However, I read most people with the same crime only serve about 10% of the sentence actually in jail?????

theres no way she will be in there for 45 days. remember she served a few in jail and 2 at home already, so shes at 40 days. I bet she'll serve 2 or 3 weeks tops

Was she balling in the cruiser or b-a-w-l-i-n-g??? Just checking, because given her track record you can't be too sure.

They should lock her parents up for raising her to think that rules are for everyone else.

There are five sets of rules in our society....those in the last group are completely above the law...they can do all sorts of criminal acts without any retribution - at least in this world....

Actually she didn't get a DUI, they knocked it down to driving while impaired.

I feel for her...

I knew a guy in MA who did the same thing. lost the license for DUI , got caught twice driving with a suspended license. He did 3 days. I have heard many say that in california that is typically what people get for the same crime.

It is as wrong to single her out for a longer sentence as it would be to give her no punishment at all. I honestly think the judge should be publicly reprimanded by the governor or whoever oversees these things for not administering justice fairly. The whole incident has further degraded peoples respect for the law as an impartial body that administers justice. Abuse of authority by a public official is serious business. I'm surprised so many feel its OK in this case cause they want the spoiled brat to be taught a lesson. There's a reason why the statue of Lady Justice wears a blindfold.

I totally agree. The sheriff said that the typical prisioner serves 10% of their sentence. She got 30 days and was out after 3. I can't figure out why the judge originally said that she should serve the total 30 days actually in jail.
