Positive for whom?

Obama is having problems simply because he screwed up this issue and now is unable to redefine the debate. The simple fact is that it's a really hard issue with no easy fix. He should have used his position early on to ram something through, but instead he let Congress be the face of the issue and the GOP had a field day...

What's sad is that there are a lot of good things in the proposals that don't get any media time. The GOP has taken a "just say no" approach that will work in the short-term but isn't good for the people.

Come election time everybody in Congress will suffer...

The GOP is not the only factor hindering this bills passage. The largest one is the fact the people don't like it for all the shady deals, closed door meetings and the snippets of information we do have on the 2700 page bill we have to pass in order to find out all thats in it(good one Nancy P). The GOP is a minority party in both houses of Congress, has been since 2006 and Congress controls the purse strings. If the bill is so good the Dems could have easily pass it without any GOP support in 2009/early 2010. The voters don't like it, some Dems don't like it and yes, the GOP does not like it. So cut through the MSDNC bullsqueezing Obamabot nonsense that it iss the "Republican Party of No" fault for blocking the bill. The Dope in the WH is ripping the country apart from within, blaming everyone else for his screw ups and making stuff up(lies) to cover his ass with his base. Everyone goes down (we all go down)with this dope in power; Scott Brown is right; what a wasted year it has been.

Hopey Changey

Agreed no easy fix but, some interim steps can be taken such as portability of coverage across statelines and tort reform would be a good start.

As for the GOP's just say no approach juxtaposed that with the probable coming losses in Congress being projected coming from the Democratic party... Your statement does not make sense, perhaps to Obamabots. Please explain how such a event is projected to impact the Dems while the GOP is coming in and stopping this wonderful bills passage. You appear to hide/ignore people are fed up with the party in power (Dem or RINO) that is not listening to the will of the people. Last polls had Obamacare around 36% approval that leaves alot of people either against or undecided. Funny how the minority seems to trump the majority but, then everything is assbackwards, up is down, down is up, right is a Nazi, left is Communist.

Keep the Hopey Change shiite going.

And the Tea Baggers don't really have a lot of influence. If anything they're going to elect more dems as they draw GOP votes.

Tea Bagging??? Spence I don't care what you do or how you do it behind closed doors and in dark theatres.

Just answer the original question> How is it that a minority party (GOP) is holidng this wonderful bill up and then why is it projected the Dems are going to be the biggest losers come November if the bill passes?
