Thumbs up Nice Addition

I was just closing the shop yesterday when Don Shaw, aka "Gone Fishing" walked in with his Mrs and grandson to see what was happening on the beach. Well, one thing led to another and before you know it he brought in his "collection", or very small part of, and we spent the next better part of an hour fondling the creations. That said, thanks to Don for contributing a lure to our hanging lure collection of "The New Generation of Lure Builders"

A belated thanks to Big Fish, Back Beach Jake, Charleston, Tagger, Mac, LI Fish and Eelpunt for donating the lures that started the wall last year. It's a gas when customers come in and start gazing at the creations and start debating amongst themselves which ones are the best ones!

WOW! a real blast from the past! I sure hope all is going well for you at Nelson's. I hope to get back there again this fall. If I had a place to stay I'd get there for the month of June

Rich! Great to see you here. Those plugs are my pleasure. I draw inspiration from the wall of Nelson's every time I go in. You have some real classics hanging there and it's a distinct honor to be included.

Thanks Guys - I'm holding you to that Karl, or else that guy will ice pick you!!!

Another creation brought in yesterday by Backbeach. Tony C loved it and was due to swim it with the fishes last nite, we'll see if it fools them!

Either Backbeach is a Picasso fan, or he's really bad lining up things on the drill press. Sweet result either way.

Well NS, yes and yes. Thanks for posting that Rich, I forgot to take a pic. That's TonyC's brainchild, I'm just the spinner.

Hey Rich - thanks for posting - also enjoyed chatting again. Karl , it was a pleasure seeing you again also. Rich suggested a spot and I actually stopped fishing because I got tired of taking the fish off the hook. New rod is now broken in. I hope to get back to the race again real soon.
