Plug Beat Up...Need Help

Below is a photo of one of my favorite plugs. Its an older Lex surfster. I cannot find the same design anymore, nor the color scheme. This plug really performed for me last year, but now its starting to take on water(well not literally, but the wood is exposed).
Would anybody out of the goodness of their heart be willing to repaint this little guy for me? Of course I will pay for ship/return ship and whatever your cost for the job. Feel free to PM me.
Thanks!

P.S.- Not sure how to upload photo, this the attachment. Sorry.

fish it, it has mojo

I have seen alot worse, that isn't so bad.
If you are worried about it getting waterlogged, a fresh coat of paint won't stop that now. The plug has to be sealed.

It does have mojo, but I don't want it to get so bad I can't fix it later on. I made those eye holes, I just took them out for now. I love that olive color!
This plug is great with that type of lip too because you can pop it and make it swim.

Oh, did I mention I don't know anything about plugbuilding and I'm scared of ruining it?

Put the hooks back on a fish it. I fish some of mine that are in worse shape than that and they still catch. A plug does not have to be pretty to catch fish

Ok, ok...

Ok, since the overwhelming response(against my will ) is to fish it like this, I will put his eyes back, throw a bucktail with no hook on the back and put some nice HD swivels with VMCs.

But if my next bass gets splinters, you guys have to help me then.
