Bob Hahns

Did you see the second edition Hahn's on ebay??? Wonder if he is really making them or if someone is using his name??? In my opinon that just killed the value of their collectablity...... Whats your opinon????

What are you saying ? they are not bob's lures ?
Rumor has it that there are a ton of his lures locked up in NJ and that he may start re-selling them????

I will buy all those up to replace my almost non existant stash. They did not have the best finish but they caught fish.

Sorry Peter rushed the earlier post.....

They are Bob Hahn lures; he is making them again; from what I have been told.........What I am saying is if he now sold or let somebody else use his name like some of the other modern builders have done in the past would they still be as collectable ??? Also many collectors paid $40- $100 for a Hahn bait; do you think they will ever reach that price again; even if he is again making them??? Shame he is using the same packaging.......

There is no large hidden stashes of Hahn's in NJ; as a matter of fact most ended up in discount bins; trash cans; etc.

I do know of one small stash of Hahns that could be had for some Musso's or Pichney's; if anyone is interested..........

I don't think it'll hurt the price of the older one's cause VB will still over pay to get one's he doesn't own.

BOAT fish do count.

LOL, You grummpy sob.....

I for some reason don't like them. They are the only lure I have ever sold,Weird ...not sure why

Maybe because he is still alive

Tom, I can't remember who told me , but someone did say they heard that he was going to start selling them again. Not sure who ?
BUt I also know of a few NJ guys who are sitting on a ton of them

Maybe because of all the reasons above is why I don't collect them!

bob hahn scoop

Well, after talking with Bob several times I now have the 411 on his plugs.
Yes he is now back to building his plugs
He told me he makes them the same as before
Same eye's same everything. He now lives in Fla and loves it,, and out of NJ. He said . WHat a great guy to talk with We talked about many different things, again a great guy!
As for collecting his old plugs, keep them in the old package. The new ones are different just turn them over
Below is a pic of 2 he sent me and signed

snake swims beautfully in calm conditions - haven't swam it off my fav. rock pile yet.

I ferget the specs - I'll post tonight if I remeber. 2 maybe 2.5 oz???

It fills the gap nicely between the Murl Eel and the Everlasting eel.
