I've got a few of those slim Dannys. Had 'em so long I'm not sure if they're original Pinchleys or Beachmasters. Whoever made them marketed them under the model name "Eely".

'Bout 8" I think, but has 2 belly hooks. I just went looking for them, but the wife re-arranged the basement

Had to move a chain saw and a bed frame

flat top sandeel

Between seeing Capesam's work and then a Danny Pinchney Sandeel plug on *bay, I was inspired to hit the basement last night. Here's what I came up with. It's about 1" long and 3/4" wide at the shoulder. Has an NJT #1 Lefty lip. Not sure aobut weights.

What's the width of the lip? I made some skinny Dannys but they didn't swim right. I think the lip was too big.

No boat, back in the suds.

A standard Mid sized Beachmaster Blue Mackerel Danny and a Gibbs Eely version. There are some Eelys by Beachmaster posted on the Some Plugs Link thread.

Steelhead, your close but the head slope is too long. Shorten it up by half. Nice plug though. Did ya ever think of going jointed on that. I have an x-ray somewhere of a jointed Eely.

Why even try.........
