Belt Sander replacement

Well my trusty Delta 1" belt sander finally died. Well, not entirely, but the bearings and shaft I need to keep it running are no longer available from any of the dozen+ parts sites I've been checking.

Luckily a replacement isn't too expensive, but wondering if any of you have had luck or warnings about your own experiences?

Grizzly model is like $90 free shipping. Central Machinery (Harbor Freight) is like $60. They look identical online, but I'm always nervous about buying anything legitimate from Harbor Freight.

Anybody been using one of these they can confirm quality? Figured I'd check with the other builders in the two big forums before I make the purchase.

Thanks guys

Grizzly might be better than HF but both made in China. I suggest if you go HF, then get the warranty for the extra few bucks, any electric motor is going to fail so at least you get a second one. That happened to me when my delta bit the dust and I bought a HF that did not last long, I have not even opened the Harbor Freight replacement yet and it was years ago, because it only covers a one time replacement.

The United States Constitution does not exist to grant you rights; those rights are inherent within you. Rather it exists to frame a limited government so that those natural rights can be exercised freely.

It's time more people spoke up with the truth. Every time we let a leftist lie go uncorrected, the commies get stronger.

HF dont waste your time or$$$.
Motors cannot take any load greater than finger pressure.
Grizzly will do.
My Sears is going great. No longer made and my Golfworks brand with Baldor motor won't die. >30yrs.

My old girl sounds awful (like a bleating goat) but I got it for 35 bucks at an oldtimer's yard sale in Vermont back in 2000. Couldn't remember what brand it was so took a pic when I went to look.
