Thanks Joe.. and Ron if I ever buy a battleship I’ll set er up just like that.... LOL ;-) and thank you...
Have I got this right,,, I turn the pump on at the helm, the pump fires off and when the pressure reaches design, the motor shuts down til the wash down hose is used... yes?
I like that if that’s the case , been on a couple boats that have switch on pump on , switch off pump off ,,, that’s it !,,,
I won’t mention who Wayne and Niko... LOL

so you hear it go urmmmp.. then stop.... then urrrrmp then stop.. been there.I'm on my 3rd wash down hose, those things aint made to last.
and any hose connection below the water line should get 2 Stainless clamps

yes, once the pressure is reached is shuts down..mine is on season # 5..the plastic bladder is a little pricey at west marine, around 60 bucks, you might find it cheaper somewhere else, but IMHO, it makes a better installation.
