Think it works now. Easy way to share my pics with you guys. Fun climb a day after a foot of new snow.

You can hear me breathing a little hard in some of the clips.

Years ago I hiked MT. Lincoln in NH. Half way up with a 50lb back pack, the most I could hike is 12 steps at a time. I would stop for 5 minutes then take 12more steps. My friends were not very impressed until we reached our campsite near the peak.....

That's when I broke out the case of beer.

I'd be lucky to make it up Monadnock now a days....

Nice job on the video and pictures. Looks like you picked a great day for a winter hike. The few times I have been to Manadnock is in the fall with a gazillion other hikers. I have done a bit hiking in the whites the last few years (My son hates fishing, but likes hiking). I do not think I am ready for winter hiking.

Can't wait to try some of the Whites in winter. As long as you dress properly it really isn't bad. In fact it was a lot easier to get down the mountain with all the snowcover. Hoping to do the Franconia Notch loop in the next month or so .

Great video... try Kearsarge or Cardigan.... the hike up to Lake Solitude on the back side of Sunapee (off Mt road) is a great hike as well

Nice to have a perfect day to climb...

Nice video Casey....
I have hiked that mountain a bunch of times, once in a snowstorm on Christmas day. It makes a good day trip because it is so close. Did you know that it is the 2nd most hiked mountain in the world?....right behind Mt. Fuji in Japan.
Looking forward to seeing your shots of the Whites.

Thanks Guys it was a blast. Jenn, I have to say as I type I am at Moosehead Lake just got done playing in 5 ft of powder. Temps were on summit in the negs. Blowing 30 gusts to knock over strength. Dress right and its perfect!
