Congrats to the champion Giants

Well done. Again.

What a game. These two teams have given us a pair of great Super Bowls. Brady was superb. How many passes in a row did he complete?

That's the way the bowl should end, except for the winning team.

Team that executed one. Well deserverved. Weller had the game in his hands. That Brady pick killed them too.

Great game, congrats to the Giants. Man if only Welker could have held on to that ball. Great catch by Manningham. Game of inches.

We lost the game on the first snap on our first offensive play. All the rest was window dressing. You can talk about other plays and penalties etc but the game was over the first time we touched the ball. How ironic!

It was an exciting game , I thoroughly enjoyed the play , the halftime show and the commercials. It was a great day for the NFL ! I even thought America the Beautiful and the National Anthem were as good as it gets to start the festivities. Other than the outcome , this was the best overall superbowl.

I can swallow this one since it was a "game" team that went way farther than they ever should have. Compared to 2007/2008 when the greatest team in the history of football lost the superbowl , todays game was fun to watch and the best team won.

Now to bed to cry until I fall asleep.

I didn't think that the 1985 Chicago Bears made the Super Bowl in 2007/2008?

The pick was really a non factor, we were on our 43 maybe, and the Giants failed to score any points off of it.

The Giants won the game by executing when they needed to. Now do you think this will get Eli into the HOF as fast as or before Peyton?

Looks like some controversy in the Manning household...

Listening to Bradshaw interviewed by Mike and Mike this morning and on the last touchdown after a friggin timeout, nothing was said by Eli to the team about not scoring. Bradshaw said when he handed him the ball during the play Eli yelled at him "Don't score, Don't score!". Bradshaw said it did not register in his mind quick enough to stop his momentum. Imagine if the last Hail Mary was caught, what idiots Coughlin and The Giants would have looked like? Some may say that you take the six and don't leave it to chance with a kicker, but most are saying you should never leave Tom Brady with the ball in his hands and he almost did it. As far as the Welker drop, I say 50% of that was on Brady for throwing it high and behind his wide open receiver, the Hernandez drop was absolutely horrible. I thought the first three quarters of the game were not that exciting, but boy did that change in the fourth!. Giant fan here, hitting the parade on Tuesday, congrats to the Pats on a great season.

Thanks Bruce (your a class act my friend). I actually feel kind of bad for you all (since i know many of you).Being a fan and watching your team loose sucks plain and simple. The Pats gave it all they had but on this day the Giants were the better team could of gone either way and the team with the least mistakes prevailed . To all the Pats fans you have my sympathy. With that being said its good to be a Giants fan today.

Many say the 85 Bears , Some the 72 Dolphins , some the 86 49ers but wrong is wrong even if everybody else is wrong. I know it was the 2007 Pats!

You can't claim the best ever when the other two 18-1 teams won the last game of the year. Sorry. Both of them absolutely crushed teams that were better than the 2007 Giants too.

yes the 85 Bears were 18-1 but they only won 12 in a row. The 2007 Pats won 18 in a row. No other team has ever won 18 in a row.

12 in a row---good
18 in a row--best ever

The Pats won 18 in a row in a single season

The Pack actually only won 19 in a row spanning two seasons.

If you want to span seasons , the Patriots are also the owners of the longest winning streak in NFL history spanning seasons at 21 consecutive wins. Interestingly enough , this record 21 game spanning season winning streak was not owned by the 2007 Pats but in fact by the 2003-2004 Pats. Talk about dominating that decade!
