Why would you want to run UP a perfectly good ski trail. They have chairlifts for that you know.

from what i've heard, unless you're elite and really get out front, the tough mudder is alot of waiting at obstacles. fun if you have a good team, but not as grueling as its made out to be because of the waiting. a guy I know who is in pretty decent running shape was getting beaten by girls who just walked the course and went around the obstacles.

i did the warrior dash last year. it was alright. obstacles were way to easy IMO. It was really just a run in deep mud. Seamed like organizers just got lazy and substituted mud for making real obsticles. It was fun in the woods, but when it got to the point of just trudging through a field in ankle to knee need mud (which turned out to be full of poison ivy oil) it got boring for me. so many people run it who have no business running anything and just get in the way also. i'm by no means a strong runner, and I was top 10% for guys, which I take as a statement on the field not myself.
