A question on Vineyard ferry

I have already booked for my Yukon to MV this month to fish the derby.

I listed my vehicle in the 16 ft. or below category, same as last year, no problems even though the truck is a tad over that.

I am hoping to build a 162 qt. cooler rack at work before I go, which will add another 2-1/2 ft (+ -) to the length.

Do you guys think they'll bust me on the additional length ????

Beetle-

I'd call them and ask, better to be on the safe side than let a problem at the terminal be a downer on vacation.

Sure they see lots of Buggies during the Derby!

Thanks - I did not want to book for the length because getting the rack built in time is hit or miss.
