all they want to hear, is all
that you want to hear.

liberal=good, conservative=bad

Just keep rationalizing your belief that you don’t really like Trump but people are victimizing him.
Because you believe that he is aligned with what you think conservative beliefs consist of.
He’s got a bridge he wants to sell you too as long as you’re in the buying mood, such a deal….

pete, here’s what liberals really struggle with:

two things can be true at the same time.

simultaneously, it can be true that (1) trump is morally repugnant, and at the same time, (2) he is being treated unfairly by the media.

Trump is an awful human being, but he implemented some terrific policies, and also had some utter failures.

Focusing on the negative and pretending the good things didn’t happen, is necessarily inaccurate and unfair.

i’m secure enough in my beliefs where i can happily admit the good
and bad. You cant.

Nothing he did is good enough to rationalize Trump

Don Jr. texts Meadows, "He's got to condemn this #^&#^&#^&#^& ASAP." Meadows responds: “I'm pushing it hard."

In other words, Meadows was talking to Trump and pushing him to stop the insurrection. Trump refused. Trump knew was happening, and he refused to act. He was pro-insurrection.

i didn’t rationalize him. i said he’s disgusting as a person, and yet that as an executive, he had some bad failures and also some smashing successes.

he isn’t just the bad stuff. he’s the sum total of everything he says and does, including the good stuff.

you’re desperately trying to prove a political point that you know is weak, consequently you force yourself to ignore everything that isnt bad. you can’t accept the existence of anything that’s favorable.

there were a million things that trump did that made me
cringe. my favorite moment of his presidency, was when trump got a letter from a ten year old
kid who had a business cutting lawns in his town, his dream
was to cut the white house lawn for a few bucks.

so trump brought the kid and his family to the white house, and trump walked back and forth across the lawn with the kid as he happily cut the grass. it was a great moment. it was terrific.

the liberal reaction on tv that night, was that trump should have been investigated for violating child labor laws. it was ridiculous. but it was entirely predictable. you could see it coming a mile away, liberals ripping their hair out trying to find a way to spin it as sinister.

to you, every single thing he says and does, must be painted as evil. because your side can’t accept the possibility that there might be any chinks in the liberal armor, when we all know liberal armor looks like a slice of swiss cheese that’s been put through a paper shredder.

There’s good and bad on both sides. i can admit that, it makes me happy to admit that. you desperately deny it. you know you can only win, if your opponents are portrayed as diabolical. I’m not that desperate or insecure.

admitting that there’s more to him than the bad stuff, isn’t rationalizing the bad stuff. but again, you can’t admit what we all know ( i’m more honest than you are or will ever be), so you paint my honesty as rationalizing that which is immoral.

except that’s not even close to what i did.

you may go back to s*cking your thumb under your bed.

Trumps getting mad at Netanyahu for congratulating Biden, tells us what a vindictive jerk Trump is.

That doesn’t mean he didnt get black unemployment to its lowest level ever recorded. A wonderful
accomplishment that you cannot ever give him credit for.
