A Goo Goo popper and a new clear coat

With the nice weather last week I was out in my garage and I finished up a small goo goo popper I turned a while back. I used my new top feed Iwata and Golden Colors airbrush paint. (I also hope to post some of what I have recently learned about using a quality top feed airbrush along with high quality airbrush paint).

The clear coat is Diamond II epoxy. I saw this clearcoat on another site and it looked really nice. I ordered some and was able to try it last week. It acts and feels similar to Etex in its application. The final finish is beautiful and much clearer than any other epoxy I have tried.
It really shows off the paint job very nicely. The pictures really don't show off the beautiful shine. Still trying to figure out how to get good close up plug shots from my fancy Lumix camera....
Enjoy

Neat plug
Is the Diamond coat as thick as etex, or thinner?

EricW,

AWESOME love the style, love the paint!!

I can't agree more with the Golden paint...top notch..pricy, but worth every penny in my book...I can't relate a single clog to it, and am always amazed at how much you can thin it and still use it!

well done,

MS
