Goo Goos

I got to play out in the garage some this summer and worked on some of the old Cooper plug bodies that I have. Most of these are finished in Golden and Com Art airbrush paints. I am really liking these paints. These are very thin and take a bit to get used to but once you figure out the right pressure and paint viscosity they work like a charm. Most are also clear coated with the Diamond II (except 2nd pic). This stuff is super clear and usually nice to work with. Enjoy!

Really nice job on those! Does that DiamondII clear hold up to hook rash better than etex?

Thanks for the kind words everyone. To answer the questions above:

The Diamond II is very much like Etex. I haven't fished many of the plugs yet, but I would say the plugs would stand up to hook rash about the same that etex would. It depends on conditions when you apply it. I have some that are hard and some that the epoxy is a little softer. It isn't really hard like devcon or system 3. There is some give to it.
It is super clear though. The pictures really don't show it off.

The poppers are old L. Cooper bodies that I acquired a little while ago. The big poppers are "lunker poppers" and the smaller poppers are "sharkey poppers". I've been sanding, painting and finishing them.
I've been working on some more. Will try to get some pics up.
