THANKS GUYS FOR ALL THE KIND WORDS!!!!!!!!

the next 3 were not so hot.... i used two part epoxy to finish. this was the first, but as i did the others it started hardening up? the other three look horrible.

question for you guys, does the hardware go on before the final coat of epoxy? ie grommets, etc. and i epoxied over the eyes on some of the spooks, wrong i now know. and how on earth do ya get the through wire to tighten? what a pia. i'm sure there is a trick, but i couldn't figure it out. it's about as tight as i can get but i know it's got a little play in it. not much, but enough to make it an issue.

What were you using for the 2 part epoxy? If it was Devcon 2-ton I don't even try to do more than 1 at a time because it sets up quick.

I also epoxy over the Grommets to help keep them in place....But I put lips on after the Epoxy. I think it was Mac that showed me the trick of using a playing card to keep epoxy from going in the slot (Just don't forget about it or you are screwed)

I also epoxy over the eyes to help keep them in place too

great idea on the playing card. it would of saved me alot of time. i ended up using a hack saw to clean out the lip. i think it was devcon 2-ton. i'm out and threw out the packaging. from now on it will be one plug at a time. because right now, as far as i'm concerned those plugs are junk. i'll fish them anyway. but to hand out to a friend, they'd laugh there arse off. not to mention i'd be embarassed as all heck.

Nice job, the paint looks real good. And nice product placement. I'm sure Zeno appreciates the plug for the book. I just started making a few plugs myself and I epoxied over the eyes to keep them on, as well as the grommets. As for the ones you think turned out bad, throw them when the blues are thick. Save the good ones for the bass.
