Weather Grumpage

Anyone else besides me had with the weather lately?
We've had a few nice days here and there, but overall looking at online data we are running 5 to 10 degrees below the avg high almost every day and it doesn't look to great at the moment for the near future. The next couple of days may be nice but it isn't looking good Sun-Tue of next week at the moment. According to channel 7 looks like 57,53 and 51 and rainy. Today was awful. I work in boston and it was cold wet and super windy. I literally almost got blown off the sidewalk Every week I think to myself" I hope next week will be good...maybe it will finally warm up....." but it just doesn't seem to come. Weather.com has a slightly better picture but still not great.
enough ranting

Raven, you might appreciate this.....I grabbed a plot over at the community gardens in town to do a Vegetable Garden. I spent the last week getting everything ready, turning and prepping the soil. Last Saturday I planted my stuff, went over and hooked up the hose and went to give it a watering....they haven't turned the water on yet at the garden...DOH!!! .....so I'm happy its raining right now....the other option has had me playing Gunga Din and Lugging jugs of water in to water everything.

Keep on Raining....at least until the water gets turned on.

We just had the first five day stretch since november without precipitation. We need a month though so Champlain goes down.

i have to go watering......too but every inch of me ACHES .... because the guy i just bought a second troybuilt tiller from had just got over a nasty flu bug!

which eventually took hold in me.... (took 4 days) i realized it yesterday when waves of tingles were rushing thru my body accompanied by chills...... then i'm hot.... then i'm freezin...

so, i could use some sunshine! but, i'm glad it's raining or cool out.

i had planned to go fishing instead of sleeping this all away.

Just started the wood stove to take the damp, cold out of the house! This is mid-May right?

this weather blows. Been glad I am in work lately and that is just plain sad. Just glad I didn't take the week off sorry Ernie and Jim.

It's gonna be a little better this weekend guys! I looked at my sunglasses in my car this morning longingly, it's been so long since I've had to wear them!

I nicked one of my gills shaving this morning, bled like a bastage...

On the sunglasses......
Ive actually used mine a
lot lately. I have a pair of lighter polarized
Glasses and you can really see better with them in the rain on the
highway.

I bet it's been sunny and nice in Seattle the last couple of weeks. I'm so sick of this weather.

The 50 degree may days are getting to me. Now I have seen some cold days in May like one year on memorial day it was almost freezing. i can't remember a may where almost every day was in the 50's. So today i nice but overall , this spring has been unusually cold. OK , done Grumping.
