#^&#^&#^&#^& Emberg Play-by-Play

Did any of you guys watching the Pats on Sunday, after Brady had one of his long passes for a nice gain, hear #^&#^&#^&#^& Enberg say that the pass was "MANNING-ESS"......I almost puked.

Gimmee a break, he should be comeparing Manning to Brady. Stats aren't everything when you have 2 rings.

I like the fact they keep comparing Manning to Marino...he never won a ring either..

and on the other side they keep comparing Brady to Montana...we all know how he turned out.

About the pass on the ground what is the ruling on that?? Does the defneder have to touch him to down him before the ball is thrown or before his arm is in forward motion? Would the defender have been penalized for jumping on top of the QB in that instance, roughing the passer? I watched that over and over and I gotta say Brady was touched before the ball went out, you will even see there is a wobble on the ball from the touch of the defender, hence the question I don't understand what would have been the right or wrong call on that play. And the announcers were definately horrible should be banned from NFL

In college football, if you fall down, teh ball is dead.

In the NFL, the ball isn't dead even if you fall down until a tackler touches you or you throw the ball away first

Well I guess that Marvin Lewis should have thrown the Red Flag then.

I suppose thats why they'll win the Superbowl, because of that non-call....

Brady was NOT touched by a Bengal before throwing that pass-not even close. It was a great, heads up play.

A defender would have been flagged for pile-driving onto any ball carrier who was on the ground already, not just a QB.

All you have to do is touch the guy, and the play is blown dead. And that's all the refs would allow, unless the guy was trying to get to his feet and advance the ball.

Cod Hunter if you have video of that game you should look again, Brady was touched before the ball left his hand and you will clealry see the touch causes a wobble on the ball

DOH!!!!! Who cares....it didn't even give them a 1st down. It was just a goofy play that made the ESPN Highlights. The game is over....lets move on.

In all honesty EVERY Football team has calls that are missed during a game. Ever watch and count how many borderline holding calls that could be called in a game.

Lets just get to the play-offs and all the questions will be answered.

TDF I was more interested on the rulings than anything else and of course the comments start piling on from the peanut gallery Was if I came out and said Brady was down they won the game because of that call
