Shark trip

Took advantage of a nice weather window today and went south of the Vineyard in search of shark. Pea soup fog made the ride out a little tedious but we rolled up to an area that seemed promising and put out some baits. We started with a small blue and then something much larger showed interest and it really pulled some string....then after 5 minutes it was gone.
A couple hours go by and then things get busy with action. We fought a thresher to the top about 5 times before it sawed us off about an hour into the battle! Followed by a giant blue on spinning gear. These sharks love bonito and I fed them plenty!

Sounds like fun, good practice for when tuna opens back up.
