Angry Dirtbag theives!

So I go to my truck this morning at 6 am to warm it up. As I walk to my truck, I notice the light for the glove box is on. I never leave this open, so I am a little confused. I go to open the door, and find it is not closed completely. I look into my truck and notice everything in the glove box, center console, and cup holders is strewn all over the front seat. Well, I forgot to lock my truck last night and someone went rummaging through my stuff. They must have been looking for cash, because they left my Oakleys, a few 100 CD's, the key to my truck, my check book, 2 green penn 704's, korkers, a pile of plugs, garage door opener (which would have gotten them access to a few $1000 in plugs), and a bunch of other valuable stuff just sitting there. The only thing they did take was 2 packs of cigarettes. I guess I won't forget to lock it from now on!

kids most likely looking for money

Same thing happened to my wife's car three nights ago, they found nothing but trash, she thought one of us went thru her stuff.

T, as slip said, kids looking for fast cash. There are times I catch myself making the same mistake, getting too comfortable and not locking the truck at home. It's a good thing they don't fish

i can't complain about what was taken. i still have to take a look in the light to be sure nothing else is missing. it just amazes me what they did/didn't take.

Flip through the check book real well. Make sure they didnt take the last one in the book or something like that. Sorry to hear that sux, glad they didnt get anything of any real value though.

thats why I asked . if you didnt have enough money to quench my thirst Id have busted up the inside good . but I would have taken everything out of the truck . not just the fishing stuff , everything ( check book , registration , cd's , insurance card ) everything . thats just to bust balls for not having enough to satisfy me breaking in . never mind ever seeing the key or garage contents again .

With the holidays fast coming upon us, there are kids out there willing to rob a car or a truck to get a quick buck to have money to buy gifts for their loved ones, whether it be family or a gf/bf.

So, lock your car and keep change out of sight.

Over the summer my wives car was stolen a couple weeks before our wedding. All sorts of wedding crap still in it. They took the rims and left everything still in it. Tiara, Tiffany's necklace and earrings with bracelet. However they did take my mother in laws engagement ring that was going to be resized.

I hate thieves.

speaking of theives, fri. night i was down in the basement turning wood, and my wife was in the computer room doing school stuff. i came up and saw my front gate was open, i went and closed it, thinking nothing of it, and then realized someone stole my blow up christmas decoration (a penguin if you are curious) ripped it right out of the friggin ground. what pisses me off the most is that i was home, ballsy a- holes, wish i had walked up when they were doing it.

If I don't have anything to do with the water, It ain't worth doing.

That sucks...very lucky you didnt have more taken. Had my Car stolen while I was at Holyoke mall (shocking huh?) about ten years ago, never forget the feeling. Then they found the car outta gas and between trees ....full of drug paraphenilia. smashed everygage, slashed seats etc.etc...but the only thing they actually took was the sucky stock radio! I loved my firebird....still breaks my heart

A few years ago I went fishing for lakers at the wachusetts reservoir early one morning, park the truck, still dark out. On the way to my spot I realize my bait bucket full of shiners is leaking so I drop everything and run back to my truck for my spare bucket. When I get there this car is now parked next to mine and there's this person exiting it with my new c.b radio! I give a yell and start running toward them, kid hops in the car with the driver waiting and speed off, but not before I can manage to throw a rock through their rear window. A lucky shot it was and they stop in the middle of the road, no lights on so again I give chase to only have them speed off as I get there. So they broke the rear slider on my truck, got my radio and I get skunked fishing. I reported it to the then MDC police but never heard from them again.
