Leslie Nielson Has Died.
Famous for the Naked Gun series and especially his role in Airplane, he has passed away. Very sad. Man he made me laugh till my stomach hurt! Rest in peace.

Although he spent the early part of his career doing serious acting, his career didn't take off until he started doing comedy.
The "Police Squad" series is hilarious. (The intro ALWAYS carried the 70's/80's trademark opening credit of "And special guest star -xxxxxxx" while showing supposed guest star meeting a gruesome demise.)
After watching the movies they made, I watched the series again just to see how funny he really was.
He was a really talented actor, not just comedic but all-around.
He will be missed!

"Airplane" came first.....that was his springboard! I split my sides watching that movie when it came out....what a great memory! And Barbara Billingsley just passed away not too long ago??? Another "Airplane" alum!
